Description: This chilli paneer can be rolled in a chapati to make chilli paneer wrap. Here paneer is marinated first and then fried. This dish can also be served as a side dish along with schezwan rice or Chinese rice. Once you taste this you will always want more.
Note: 2 tbsp of water is to be added in the left over corn starch to give glaze.
Steps For Chilli Paneer Dry Recipe :
Pre- preparation:
Cut paneer in cubes or rectangle shape. Put in a mixing bowl. Keep it aside.
Using a chopper, chop Ginger and garlic in fine pieces.
Cut green chilli vertically.
Cut onion in big pieces and separate all layers of it.
Chop capsicum in square pieces. Remove seeds and white part also from it.
Keep all the veggies aside.
Marinating and frying paneer:
Add corn flour, red chilli powder, black pepper powder and salt in a bowl. Mix well.
Add paneer cubes in that bowl and mix well so that the spices are coated well on the paneer. But take care that the paneer pieces are not broken while mixing.
Add oil in a non stick pan. When oil is medium hot add the marinated paneer in it.
Once fried from one side flip the cubes. Fry evenly until golden brown.
Remove from the pan and keep it aside.
Now the bowl in which paneer cubes were marinated has some leftover marinate in it. Add 2 tbsp of water in it. This will add glaze to the dish.
Preparing the sauce:
In a small bowl add soy sauce, sweet red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, red Chilli powder, black pepper powder. Mix well the spices and the sauce.
Now in the same pan in which we fried paneer add Ginger, garlic and green chillies. Fry them.
Now add onions and capsicum. Stir fry till the edges of both get soft or brown. Keep the flame medium.
Now add the sauce and spices mixture.
Now add salt and sugar. Mix everything well.
While adding salt take care because the sauces also have salt in it.
