Description: The amazing dense creamy texture of the mango Kulfi looks rich. This fantastic looking dessert is an incredible fun to eat. It is one of the best dessert made in the mango season.
Mango Kulfi Recipe Ingredients:
- Mango Pulp – ¾ cup
- Condensed Milk – 1 can
- Cardamom Powder – ¼ tsp
- Fresh Cream – ½ cup
- Whipped Cream – ½ cup (optional)
- Pistachios – ¼ cup
- Almond – ¼ cup
- Cashews – ¼ cup
- Khoya – 6 tbsp.
- Sugar – ¼ cup.
- Kulfi Mold – 1 plate
- Vark Leaves – 1 sheet
Note: Use the whipped cream only when you lack with the fresh cream or it is not available. You can use fresh Alphonso mangoes it you do not have pulp.
Mango Kulfi Recipe Steps:
Pre-Preparation:
- Finely chop the nuts like pistachios and almond. You must blanch and shred the almonds before sprinkling.
- Make mango pulp at home: Scoop the mango skin or the flesh. Press the mangoes with palm and take the puree in the bowl.
Note: Check and set the refrigerator temperature.
Preparation:
- In a mixing bowl, transfer the chilled cream and beat till its bubbles. Do this for approximately 5 minutes. Place the bowl in refrigerator for chilling.
- Take another mixing bowl and mix cardamom powder with condensed milk. Add mango puree and whisk the mixture. Also simmer some khoya with pinch of sugar. Now take out the bowl of cream from fridge and beat into the mixture. Let the ingredients settle and whisk till they combine with each other. Make sure the final mixture is thick.
- Sprinkle the nut into the mixture and fold within it.
- Take the shape molds and transfer the mixture. Seal the Kulfi molds and keep in refrigerator for the 6 hours.
- Once the Kulfi is frozen, if you want to remove from the mango mold, then place the mold under the tap water and release the Kulfi by pushing the bottom of the mold.
And the magnificent mango Kulfi are ready to take bite, insert sticks and serve.
Note: Instead of condensed milk, you can also try adding reduced or boiled milk.
