Note: Baking soda can be replaced with Eggs if you are an Eggetarian. The sauces can be home-made or found in Asian or International Grocery Stores.
Okonomiyaki Recipe Steps:
Pre-Preparation:
Prepare the batter by mixing baking soda with flour and rice milk. Then add Spinach with little sprinkling of salt and pepper.
Note: Stir the batter only in the required amount. Do not over mix, whisk well to combine ingredients properly.
Preparation:
In a sauce-pan, heat the oil over a low flame.
Spread the pan-cake batter evenly over the surface of warm sauce-pan.
Let the back surface of pan-cake cook properly, then flip over the other side and allow it to cook thoroughly. Turn over only when both the sides are golden brown.
Add topping of cheese or any other vegetable you prefer.
