Description: The side ingredients are paired with raspberry to perfectly balance the mild sweetness of basil and tartness of lemon juice. The colorful amalgamation of raspberries and basil leaves gives the drink gorgeous look making everyone tempt for it to gulp.
Raspberry Basil Mocktail Recipe Ingredients:
Raspberries – 1 large cup (6 raspberries)
Basil / Mint Leaves – 1 cup (8 leaves)
Ginger – 1 cup (minced)
Maple Syrup – ½ tsp
Grape Juice ¼ cup
Cranberry Juice – ¼ cup
Lime Juice – 1 tbsp.
Soda – 1 cup
Water – 2 cups
Note: You may use beer or gin instead of soda. Skip the lime juice if the Soda is lemon flavored.
Raspberry Basil Mocktail Recipe Steps:
Pre-Preparation:
Remove the seeds from raspberry
Rinse the basil leaves with cold water
Note: Soak the leaves for minimum half hour before using.
Preparation:
In a Mocktail shaker, muddle raspberries with basil leaves and ginger. Mix 3 sprigs of mint leaves.
With backside of spoon, squish the mixture until syrups bursts from raspberries.
Add maple syrup, soda, juices and water. Shake it will until everything is combined.
And your refresher drink is ready, serve it a fancy pint glass.
Note: Fill the glass with ice before pouring the drink.
