Russian Salad Recipe Ingredients:

  • Apple – ¼ cup
  • Pineapple – ¼ cup
  • Peas – ¼ cup
  • Potatoes – 1 cup
  • Tomatoes – ¼ cup
  • French Beans – ¼ cup
  • Boiled Eggs – 2 eggs
  • Capsicum – ¼ cup
  • Coriander Leaves – ¼ cup
  • Carrots – 1 cup
  • Cucumber – ¼ cup
  • Celery – ¼ cup
  • Fresh Cream – ½ tbsp.
  • Mayonnaise – ½ tbsp.
  • Lettuce leaves– 1/4th of large bunch
  • Fresh Mint Leaves – 1 tbsp. (finely chopped)
  • Lime Juice – ¼ tsp.
  • Black Pepper – less than ½ tsp.
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Sugar – as per taste
  • Olive Oil – ¼ tsp. (click to buy olive oil online)

Note: You can also buy eggless mayonnaise from the market. You can use tinned pineapple.

Russian Salad Recipe Steps:

It is very easy to make the Restaurant Style Russian Salad at home. Firstly you have to wash, clean and chop all the veggies along with fruits. And then mix everything with each other. Drizzle your favourite salad dressing. Also, perk up the taste of salad with the flavorful seasonings.

Pre-Preparation:

  • Wash, Rinse and finely chop the celery, tomato, French beans, cucumber, and capsicum with the help of chopper.
  • In the hot boiling water, boil the potatoes, French beans, peas and carrots.
  • Now peel off the potato skin and chop them. Similarly, peel off the carrot skin and grate them.
  • Wash the lettuce with fresh water and steam well for 10 minutes. Soak in the cool water for 2 minutes. Remove the exterior leaves from the head.

Preparation:

  • In a large bowl, combine all the chopped fruits with veggies.
  • First add the chopped pineapple, apple, and celeries.
  • Then mix it with the boiled potatoes and carrots.
  • To this bowl, add French beans and peas.
  • Then squeeze lemon juice over it.
  • Add chopped capsicum, tomatoes, and the cucumbers.
  • Sprinkle the coriander leaves and mint leaves in the mixture.
  • Fold the mixture with the fresh cream and a scoop of mayonnaise.
  • Season the salad with salt and black pepper.
  • Once again, squeeze a little lime juice and mix properly.
  • Drizzle the mixture with the Olive oil.
  • Give a toss.
  • Combine the ingredients properly.
  • Take the salad bowl or plate, spread the lettuce leaves.
  • Transfer the mixture to the salad bowl over the lettuce leaf.
  • Refrigerate the bowl of salad for 1 hour.
  • Take the bowl from the fridge. Season with extra spice powders.
  • Keep the boiled eggs sprinkled with pepper over the salad.
